SSC MTS 2026: exam pattern, syllabus, cutoff and free mocks

Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar Examination · Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

SSC MTS recruits 10th-pass candidates as Multi-Tasking Staff in central government offices and as Havaldar in CBIC and CBN.

Selection is a single computer-based exam in two sessions; Havaldar candidates also take physical tests. Patterns change between notifications; always confirm with the latest official notice on ssc.gov.in.

Eligibility

10th pass (Matriculation) from a recognised board by the cut-off date.

Age is usually 18 to 25 years for MTS and 18 to 27 years for Havaldar and some MTS posts, with relaxation for reserved categories. Check the notification for exact limits.
