Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Mock Matrix (“Mock Matrix”, “we”, “us”), which runs mockmatrix.in and its practice app. By creating an account, taking a test or buying a pass you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What we offer

Mock Matrix is an independent online practice platform for government recruitment exams such as SSC CGL. We provide mock tests on a screen modelled on the computer-based exam, free daily quizzes, live mocks, results with all-India rank, and study articles.

Mock Matrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Staff Selection Commission, any government body or any exam vendor. Exam names are used only to describe what our practice material is for. Always rely on the official notification for exam dates, eligibility, pattern and syllabus.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Google or an email code. Keep access to that email and your devices secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account is for one person. Sharing an account or a pass, or reselling access, is not allowed and may lead to suspension without refund.
• You should be at least 18 years old, or use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate details. Your category is used only to compare your score with published cutoffs.

3. Passes and payments

• Free features stay free: free mocks, the daily quiz and live mocks as announced. Paid mocks need an active pass.
• We sell the Selection Pass (yearly), the Focus Pass (182 days) and the Sprint Pass (30 days). A pass unlocks every paid mock and practice feature on the platform for its length, including exams and mocks we add during your pass.
• Prices are in Indian rupees. The price shown at checkout is the full price you pay; there are no hidden charges. Launch prices apply to a limited number of seats in order; the live counter shows real payments and checkouts in progress.
• Passes are prepaid. There is no automatic renewal or auto-debit. If you buy again while a pass is running, the new days start when the current pass ends.
• Payments are processed by Cashfree. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

4. Offers, coupons, referrals and rewards

• One discount applies per order: a coupon or a referral code, not both. Coupons may have limits, dates and conditions shown when you apply them.
• Referral rewards are free pass days, not cash. They are added after your friend's refund window ends, are capped per year, and are cancelled if the friend's order is refunded. You cannot refer yourself.
• Gift codes from group packs give pass days to the person who redeems them and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Rewards for reporting a mistake in a question are free pass days for the first confirmed report.
• We may change or end an offer for future purchases at any time. Rewards already earned are honoured.

5. Fair use

You agree not to: copy, download, record or republish our questions, solutions or tests; use bots, scrapers or other automated access; share live-mock questions during the live window; interfere with the service or other users; or use the service for anything unlawful. We may remove ranks obtained unfairly and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Our content

Questions, solutions, explanations, articles, designs and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Your pass gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation. Questions from previous official papers are reproduced for practice and remain subject to the rights of their original publishers.

If you spot an error in a question, please report it from the solution screen. We review every report.

7. Results and ranks

Scores, ranks, percentiles, projected ranks and cutoff comparisons are estimates for practice, based on the students who took the same test on Mock Matrix and on cutoffs published by the commission. They do not predict or guarantee your result in the real exam or your selection for any post.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available and your answers are saved as you go, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. We may update, change or retire features and tests. If a paid feature is withdrawn for a long period during your pass, contact us and we will extend your pass fairly.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on practice results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the pass concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where we do so without your fault, we refund the unused part of your pass.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects you materially, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies to you.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at the place of our registered office.
